Space Shuttle Launch

After many months of hard working on the house. We decided that after school let out we were going to take the boys on a vacation. To keep it a surprise we didn't tell them.
The kids got out of school Thursday, so Friday morning we went to Kansas city on the rouse of going to one of out favorite restaurants The Rain Forest Cafe. What they didn't know is that we were catching a 6:00 am flight to Florida the next morning. We had bags packed and hidden in the car.
After arriving in Florida and grabbing some lunch we headed to Cape Canaveral to secure our viewing location. We were about 5 miles away across the bay, but had front row seats. We go there around 2:00 and spent the afternoon just chatting with all the other tailgater's waiting for the launch.
